The work to convert the old cemetery records to the new web site is now complete. All the images were enhanced as much as possible and we will continue to add to this important section of the web site as we acquire other pictures.

We also started working on the Bible and Obituary records from the old web site but we did not finish *see announcement on right). We will continue to go through these until we finish and also plan to go through emails and other records to look for items forwarded to us over the past few months.

The largest investment of time in May has been a search of the World War I draft registration cards. We activated the link for the military records and the World War I section. We have completed a search of surnames beginning with A, B, and C and those records are already on the site. If you are looking for information on relatives with surnames ending in A, B, or C you might take a look.

The World War I records are proving to be a great source of information for the reasons listed on the cover page to this section.

There is a lot here, but there could be a lot more.

The section of the web site that lists all 40,000+ individuals being tracked will be updated during the weekend of May 18.

Kathy and I are proud to announce the latest addition to our family. Sara Stackhouse Whitehead was born on May 8th in Seattle, Washington.

Congratulations to Kris and Amy.

For the next few months this will continue to be a mixed bag of items, but you will see the menu change each time we add something new.
